Great customer service

I was surprised to see different meals than what I ordered listed in my confirmation. Max was a great help getting it all sorted out. Very helpful.

Very helpful in getting my menu changed…

Very helpful in getting my menu changed after the deadline. Didnt notice the ET timeline. I really didn't feel like repeating menu items a second week in a row. Lol

messed up weekly delivery 3 times

messed up weekly delivery 3 times. randomly substituted meals that i had excluded from dietary preferences. sometimes randomly missing meals. the headaches from having to talk to support over and over are not worth it. they never put me in touch with a manager like i asked, and the same problems kept occuring. poorly run company, cannot recommended
update: would give 0 stars if possible. they replied to my review and asked me to contact them. i did and here is the reply

they didnt even read the complaint. and my complaint was that i couldnt ever get in touch with someone who cared and would help solve my problem. wow. thanks freshly

So happy with my customer service chat experience!

Ryan D was incredibly helpful when I reached out about receiving two meals with “use by” dates one day after we received them. He went above and beyond to assure me that my experience was shared with the quality assurance team and refunded me. It’s so nice to know that Freshly has such attentive customer support. If everyone is as helpful as Ryan D, I know we’ll be in great hands as long as we are Freshly customers!

To take care of the meal that had too…

To take care of the meal that had too many meals ordered, i had to write more texts than I should have. First it was a recording, then a person that made me keep typing my question over and over. It wasn’t till I actually talked with Kate A that everything got resolved. Sorry, but it took me typing for at least 45 minutes.

Great Service but the Food is Disgusting

I tried Freshly back in September to try to have some easy options for healthy foods in single portions. I signed up for the 12 meal plan because it was the most economical (although still approx $9 per meal) and excitedly picked a range of meals from the expansive online menu. I had to wait about 10 days for the first delivery in order to snag a Sunday.

The food arrived on time, but in a ridiculously large, heavy box, which I had to lug up 4 floors into my walkup apartment. I promptly unpacked it because it took up so much space and was leaking, and dragged the bag out to the trash.

From the first meal through the last, the food was thoroughly disappointing. Everything was salty and had a strange, acrid flavor to it. Some of the meat was ok (particularly the steak pecorino) but the rest of it was about the quality and consistency of a microwave meal. The vegetables and sides (mostly grains) were limp, soggy, and the portions were sparse.

I forced myself to finish all 12, to justify the money that I had spent and promptly cancelled my subscription.

Great Customer Service, Bad Clarity on Website

My chat agent was excellent to work with. They were very patient and worked hard to get me answers. I wish the freshly program were a little more transparent, though... I was chatting simply to see how much my next meals would cost but they hide that from you until you've already paid for it. The chat person had to do some work to investigate it. It would be nice to just see what you'll be paying, as this doesn't help foster trust in the program.

I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.

Did not deliver at all, with NO notice. Called, they said they were having problems, and would ship NEXT WEEK. What do I eat this week, they took my money.

Each meals are portioned only for one and not very big but dietary correct. Americans are just used to larger portions than they should be eating
